We have new classes starting January! Seen Strictly Come Dancing, fancy trying it yourself. Dancing is fun, good exercise and a great way to meet people. In January 2012 there are new adult classes on Monday in Bath and Wednesday in Midsomer Norton. Please see the lessons page for more information.
Childrens classes take place on Saturday morning in Bath and Saturday afternoon in Midsomer Norton. Classes cover Ballroom, Latin and Disco. Please see the lessons for more details.

Are you getting married? Why not make your first dance extra special. Private lessons are available where you can learn a few dances in order to impress your guests with your skill on the dance floor. Contact the Dancentre for further information. The Bath Dancentre was the winner of the inaugural Bath Life Awards in the Arts category. Congratulations to Paula and all the Dancentre staff for this achievement.
Paula and all the staff at the Dancentre would like to congratulate all the students from the University of Bath Latin and Ballroom Dancesport team for their success at the IVDA National championships. The team were ranked 5th in the UK overall which is an outstanding achievement. Additionally Dan Taylor and Sarah Smith won the Intermediate Ballroom event, whilst Hayden Phyo and Nicole Hurley won the Novice Latin event. This is the first time in the University's 25 year history of dancesport that anyone has won an individual event at the Nationals. Congratulations to all.
